The session "Internet Exchange and Enterprise Data Network Architecture" consists of two parts. The first covers Internet Exchange, begining with the design of the the first exchanges and their impact on the development of the Internet.
Current exchange design, practice, and benefits will then be covered.
The session will then present current and future trends, including distance
peering and VOIP peering.
The second part of the session will cover the design of large enterprise data networks.
This will include the presentation the design goals, security considerations, and application support issues that drive the network design. |
